Flat Galleries

Wow, this class was very good, I didn't know so much about the Flat Galleries.They have a different and nicer athmosphere than the other ones. My favourite one was Molnár Ani Gallery, because of the works, they were really creative. The net-bags were nice, I would buy them,but everything is very expensive... At the Second one, the owner was nice to us, but the exhibition was strange, I could make works like those easily, or maybe better ones. They were slapdash for me!
We have seen then two other ones and in general about the Flat Galleries: nice idea, better athmosphere,but less people know where are them, there is a particular audience who go there and turists have no chance to find them.

Fine Arts Museum

We were at Fine Arts Museum and we had a possibilitie to see three different exhibitions: the Mucha, the Secession reflections and Moreau. In my opinion Mucha was great, I realy enjoyed it,the paintings and the set up was good, kind of cosy. :) (After the exhibition he became one of my favourite.) And also the reflections were very interesting by Krea Arts School, very creative ones.
But, the exhibition of Moreau was terrible. The color of the walls and the set up was funny and ugly at the same time.Boring!!! There were only one painting what I liked from the hole exhibition,which is not a good avarage!

Museum of Applied Arts

I didn't like the hole exhibition at all,it was confusing very much.And there were just few art pieces what I liked.There were no english descriptions on the labels, I guess for the foreigners in the class was more confusing and boring.
BUT!We have to see bad exhibitions as well, we can learn about their mistakes. :) The point of visiting exhibitions is to learn more about the set ups, structures, the labels and descriptions and so on.The only thing what were nice are the interactive computer games, I had fun there.

Trip to Galleries

We were at Várfok Gallery and several other ones near by,and see how they are preparing for the upcoming exhibitions.Very interesting for a while,but for hours it's a bit too much.I can't take in so much exhibition in one day,for me just one or two would be enough.But there are also other classmates who likes it so much,maybe it's boring just for me, I don't know.
Anyway, I know that it's useful,but i loose my interest after one or two hours of watching exhibitions,unfortunately.

Theoritical exhibition

Our second assigment is to make a theoritical exhibition and my idea is to choose a particular song which influences the artists.I will invite entries for a competition and the winners can exhibite and sell their pictures at the exhibition.For sure there will be 3 rooms: 1.photographs, 2.paintings, 3.video installations.We must make a mock-up,which will be very hard for me ,because I won't know how many people will apply for the competition.
This task is very useful, we have already learnt about the steps of organizing an exhibition and we have to follow them in case we want to have a nice exhibition.
Actually,I would like to make my exhibition once,becuse it can be interesting for everybody how music effect people and artists.

First Friday

The exhibition was really nice, everything went perfect and the most important that Oksana was satisfield. She has very nice paintings, I like them and most of the people liked it as well. I was taking pictures, I had difficulties with the flash of the camera, which didn't work,so some of the pictures are blurred. But there is still about 40 of them which are quite niceMaya and Anna had the opening speech,they were very nervous I could see.But the hole was very good,more people came than I expected,that was very cool.
Natela,Meerim and Pavel were nice, they made a good athmosphere during the opening.

Catalogues

We were going further with Oksana's Exhibition and I am happy with my "new" task,I have to take pictures of the opening. Now everybody is clear about their tasks and very excited. :)
We also had a discussion about Catalogues, what it should contain and see different structures. My favourute one is by Erdész and Makláry,they have a very good structure and design.
This class was very useful for us, we have to know how to make catalogues.In the future we can use it if we have to make one for a gallery.
